For this project i was tasked with researching and designing a rechargeable Festool impact screwdriver/drill for DIY use and light-scale fabrication/workshop use.The product must be developed to suit the Festool brand,incorporating innovative technologies which are currently only available in the high end Festool products.

Two personas boards were created based in order to help inspire the product.

The project emphasized a lot on human interface and engagement with the three users whom we had to take through the design process. After each phase of designing and refining ,users gave more feedback on the concepts.

Data was collected in order to conceptualize a final idea each user would like.

An ergonomic study of handles was conducted for the users.This allowed users to interact with the mock ups and give positive feedback.
